Jim is a graduate of the State University of New York with a degree in business economics and accounting. His education has provided him with a solid foundation that has served him well in his career.

Experience
After college, Jim started as the controller of a large commercial moving and storage company in the New York City market. Rapidly advancing to Chief Operating Officer, he assumed marketing responsibilities for the company. Under his leadership, the document storage division became one of the largest locally owned RIM service providers, eventually acquired by Iron Mountain in 2015.

In 2006, Jim recognized the significant opportunity in document shredding with their existing client base and the potential to become a significant player in the market. Jim became an expert in marketing document shredding services, contributing to his company's successful growth as one of the largest regional shredding service providers.

In 2016, Jim started a Connecticut-based shredding company with his son, growing it from scratch to one of the leading shredding providers in the entire state.
​
In 2017, Jim played a role in the acquisition of a Boston-based shredding company. After implementing his marketing strategies, the company, which had been stalled at $500,000 annually for many years, is now generating over $100,000 per month.

In 2022, Jim was elected to the Board of Directors for i-SIGMA. As a board member, he contributes to influencing the association's direction, advocating for its members, and strengthening and defining federal and state privacy laws.
